In my heart I am a
teacher. That is my primary purpose in life. Being a healer and
practitioner is a close second. Even within my sessions it is my goal to
teach my clients to become empowered in living fully and in health.
Teaching is a way to make the message more global, reach more people.
There is a limit to how many individuals I can personally touch in a life
time. As an instructor of Shiatsu and Massage I have taught many others
the art of touch and healing. This has an expansive impact. When I think
about all the students that I have had over the years I realize that by
being a teacher I am making a bigger difference In the world.
Teaching is a sharing of my heart and soul as it is my spiritual
practice and one of the great loves of my life. It is part of my
personal Seva. (Service to the world) It is an honor to share my
experience and knowledge with all who are willing to learn. Please

Transformational Yoga and Healing Workshops
Class Descriptions:
Yoga Posture Clinic: Have
fun as you deepen your knowledge and practice of Asana. (Postures) You
will learn how to fine tune alignment and use isometric engagements in
each posture in a way that provides the most benefit building strength
and inner awareness. Learn how postures can be used in both a Yin
(passive) and Yang (active) way. We will be reviewing 15 to 20 major
postures one by one. I will explain how each posture effects the body's
anatomy and structure, as well as the energetic, emotional and mental
benefits. This class is powerful tool for enhancing your yoga practice
and is beneficial for students of all levels. (4 Hours)
Yoga for Structural
Alignment: Due to postural habits, injury and stress, we
all have structural imbalances that can lead to discomfort, tension and
pain. I invite you to learn this simple and gentle yoga routine to
naturally realign the body and mind. In this class you will learn how
to integrate breath, muscle energy techniques and gentle
micro-movements to release the tendons and stretch the surrounding
muscles of each joint allowing for a subtle yet dramatic shift in the
body. When the body is physically aligned it allows for mental,
emotional and spiritual alignment as well. By learning the basic
concepts offered in this class you would have a tool for
self-maintenance that integrates and assists with other therapies such
as chiropractic, shiatsu/massage and acupuncture. (3 hours)
Yoga for Clarity
(Eyes): This class is all about focus, which starts with
the eyes. Eye exercises combined with yogic movements, right/left brain
integration and acupressure can prevent eye fatigue, stress headaches,
sinus issues, improve eyesight (when practiced over time), metal
clarity and intuition. (3 hours)
Spiritual
Journeying: Find your inner truth and
expression through movement, meditation, self-inquiry, and collage.
Discover the steps to empowerment; learn to connect to your energetic
matrix, practice co-listening and conscious communication. Use
creativity to unlock the subconscious allowing for freedom of
expression and powerful living. (6 hours)
Step into the Sacred
Circle: The circle represents the Spirit of Earth's
Harmony. It is the symbol for the wheel of life in which you can
understand yourself in relationship to the universe. It is forever
evolving and bringing new lessons and uncovering truth. Many systems of
healing are based on the circle including the Native American medicine
wheel and the Eastern 5 element system of healing. Experientially,
learn about these systems and take a journey around the circle. A
medicine wheel will be created and you will experience a shamanic
medicine bag reading. (6 hours)
Energy Medicine: We
are vibrational beings that are deeply affected by surrounding energy
fields. Learn about the energy matrix of the body (Meridians, Chakras
and Auric Field) through meditation and movement exercises. Experience
how to use energetic techniques and tools to improve awareness and
health. Techniques and topics include; Kinesiology, Emotional Freedom
Technique (EFT), Chakra Balancing, Feng Shui, Dowsing and the use of
pendulums, crystals and tuning forks. (2 day workshop, 12 hours)
Yogong: A synergy of Yoga, Qigong
and Eastern Medicine: Learn the Eastern concepts of Yin
and Yang and the 5 Element system of healing. Discover how we are
connected to the elements of nature and how it relates to the
meridians, our internal energy, personality type and health. We will
investigate and learn bout the 12 major Meridians and the core
connection to the microcosmic orbit. Information will be absorbed
through the senses using aromatherapy, tasting the flavor of each
element, using sounds, visuals, guided meditation, breathing exercises
and poetry. A Yoga and Qigong flow will be taught for each element to
activate the meridians. Self-Acupressure and Shiatsu techniques will be
taught to increase energy, boost the immune system, improve digestion,
relax and restore the body. (2 day workshop, 12 hours)
Restorative Yoga & Yoga
Nidra: The soothing and well-supported postures of
restorative yoga offer an opportunity to linger quietly for a few
moments and savor the simple sweetness of life. As you relax into the
postures the body naturally activates the parasympathetic nervous
system creating inner peace and harmony. The benefit is reduced stress;
increase vitality, lower heart rate and the stimulation of the immune
system. This is a gentle class suitable for pregnancy, recovery from
injury or illness and for anyone who wants to relax and renew.
Yoga Nidra (psychic /yogic
sleep) is a guided deep meditation. The ultimate goal of this
relaxation technique is to reach a state in which the mind is very
deeply relaxed, yet still conscious. This is a good compliment to a
restorative yoga practice. (3 hours)
Yoga for Health: Relax , renew and enhance your journey
towards health through the practice of therapeutic yoga. Learn about
your body's physiology, anatomy and energetic matrix and how you can
use this knowledge to develop greater awareness and inner harmony.
Synchronize breath and movement to increase balance , flexibility,
strength, proper alignment and coordination. Benefits include stress
reduction, increased mental clarity and concentration. The focus will
be on learning to honor your body's wisdom. Postures will be taught in
stages to accommodate students of all levels. Traditional yogic concepts will be integrated with
elements of Qigong and Eastern Philosophy. Taking the classes as
a series is recommended as every class offers different information and
the more often you practice the better the overall results. Drop-ins
are also welcomed. Offered as a weekly class.
Yoga for
Kids: Interactive fun for parents and kids ages 3-7.
Parents need not be present with children ages 8-12. (Kids older then
13 can attend regular yoga classes) 1 hour class.

three days prior so I can plan appropriately for handouts and

Alignment and Yoga for Clarity. Yoga for Alignment helps to realign the
structure naturally and reduces tension and pain. Yoga for Clarity
